Columbia Small Cap Value and Inflection Fund Class A (COVAX) is an open-end mutual fund managed by Columbia Threadneedle Investments, a subsidiary of Ameriprise Financial, launched on May 1, 2002, and listed on the NASDAQ. The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of small-cap U.S. companies, with a focus on value-oriented stocks characterized by low valuations and below-average growth rates, as defined by the Russell 2000 index range. With approximately $868.5 million in total assets and a diversified portfolio of 103 holdings, the fund allocates predominantly to domestic equities (~94.8%), with top sector exposures in Financials (18.2%), Industrials (15.8%), and Real Estate (12.7%). The fund carries a net expense ratio of 1.21% and a portfolio turnover of 115%, and is currently co-managed by Jeremy Javidi and Bryan Lassiter.
