The Calvert International Responsible Index ETF (CVIE) is a passively managed exchange-traded fund issued by Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Inc., launched on January 30, 2023, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange Arca. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Calvert International Responsible Index, which is composed of common stocks of large-cap companies in developed markets outside the United States that meet the Calvert Principles for Responsible Investment — a proprietary ESG framework evaluating environmental sustainability, equitable societies, human rights, and accountable governance. Under normal market conditions, the fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets to securities within its benchmark index, with top holdings including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, ASML Holding, and Samsung Electronics, and significant sector exposure to Financial Services, Technology, and Industrials. With a low net expense ratio of 0.18% and a market capitalization of approximately $405 million, CVIE offers investors a cost-efficient vehicle for gaining diversified exposure to responsible, large-cap international equities across regions such as the Eurozone, Japan, and developed Asia.
