The iShares U.S. Regional Banks ETF (IAT) is a passively managed exchange-traded fund issued by BlackRock and managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors, launched on May 1, 2006, and traded on the NYSE Arca. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Select Regional Banks Index, a free-float adjusted, market capitalization-weighted index that measures the performance of the regional bank sub-sector of the U.S. equity market, focusing on small- and mid-cap companies while excluding mega-cap banks such as JPMorgan and Wells Fargo. With approximately $625 million in assets under management, IAT holds a concentrated portfolio of roughly 35 stocks, with its top holdings including PNC Financial Services Group, U.S. Bancorp, and Truist Financial Corporation, which together represent a significant portion of the fund's total assets. The ETF carries a net expense ratio of approximately 0.38–0.40% and offers a trailing twelve-month dividend yield of around 3%, with quarterly distributions to shareholders.
