Unlike traditional market-cap-weighted funds, RSPS equally weights each of its approximately 37–40 holdings drawn from the consumer staples sector of the S&P 500 — encompassing food and beverage producers, household products companies, personal care firms, and consumer staples retailers — reducing concentration in the largest names and providing more balanced sector exposure. The fund invests at least 90% of its total assets in the securities comprising the underlying index, carries a net expense ratio of 0.40%, and trades on the NYSE Arca under the ticker RSPS, with assets under management of approximately $240 million. With a beta of approximately 0.43–0.57 and full allocation to the defensive consumer staples sector, RSPS is positioned as a relatively low-volatility equity investment offering diversified exposure to non-discretionary consumer goods companies within the S&P 500.
