Strategas Macro Thematic Opportunities ETF

The Strategas Macro Thematic Opportunities ETF (SAMT) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund listed on the NYSE Arca, launched on January 25, 2022, and managed by Strategas Asset Management, LLC, with Vident Advisory, LLC serving as sub-advisor. The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing principally in common stocks of U.S. companies that most highly correlate to macro-thematic trends, focusing on three to five high-conviction themes at any given time — such as AI, robotics, electrification, space, and semiconductors — while adjusting thematic positioning as macro conditions evolve. Employing a top-down analytical approach, the fund evaluates broad macroeconomic factors including fiscal and monetary policy, socioeconomic developments, and global events to identify durable intermediate-term investment opportunities across the market capitalization spectrum, subject to certain liquidity requirements. With approximately $285 million in market capitalization, a net expense ratio of 0.66%, and a 1-year return of approximately 28.79%, SAMT has marginally outperformed the Russell 1000 since its inception.
