The fund seeks a high level of current income with a focus on capital preservation by investing at least 80% of its assets in income-producing fixed-income securities, including corporate debt, mortgage-related securities, asset-backed securities, government securities, and preferred stocks, while maintaining at least 50% of its portfolio in investment-grade rated debt. With approximately $259.5 million in total assets and a net expense ratio of 0.50%, SIO benchmarks its performance against the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index and distributes income on a monthly basis. The fund employs a broadly diversified, bottom-up security selection approach with active duration management, providing flexibility to allocate up to 50% in non-investment-grade debt and to react to market dislocations across sectors.
