Under normal market conditions, the fund commits 100% of its net assets (and no less than 80% as a fundamental policy) to tax-exempt municipal securities, favoring higher-yielding sectors such as housing, healthcare, and educational facilities, as well as revenue bonds over general obligation bonds to maximize income. With approximately $128.9 million in total assets and a 30-day SEC yield of 3.68% for its S Class shares, the fund is categorized by Morningstar under the Muni National Intermediate bond category and is managed by a seasoned team led by Senior Portfolio Manager Paul J. Jungquist, who has overseen the fund since 2000.
