Cenovus Energy Inc. (NYSE: CVE) is a Calgary, Alberta-based integrated energy company founded in 2009 that develops, produces, refines, transports, and markets crude oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas across Canada, the United States, and the Asia Pacific region. The company's upstream operations are anchored by its large-scale oil sands projects in northern Alberta — including Foster Creek, Christina Lake, and Sunrise — complemented by conventional oil and gas assets in Western Canada and offshore exploration and development activities.
